Delivery and installation

Your units arrive finished and pre-assembled, and our own team installs them. Most families can stay at home during installation, because the cutting has already been done in the factory. We protect the floors, work to a plan and clean up before we leave.

What we need on site before we start

Installation goes smoothly when the room is ready. Please have this done before the delivery date:

• Civil work finished: flooring, dado tiles, plaster and paint dry
• Electrical and plumbing points in their final positions, as marked in the approved drawing
• The room empty and accessible, with a clear path from the lift or staircase
• Society permission for material movement and working hours, where the building requires it
• Water and power available for the installation team

How long installation takes

Because units arrive pre-assembled, most of the work on site is levelling, fixing and alignment. [CLIENT INPUT: installation days by kitchen size, for example small, medium and large.] Wardrobes are usually quicker than kitchens, as there is no plumbing or gas involved.

Can we stay in the flat?

Usually yes. There is far less dust than site carpentry, and the noisy part is short. The kitchen will be out of use for the installation days, so plan simple meals or eat out for that period.

What happens on installation day

Handover

We walk you through the kitchen: how the lift-ups work, how to adjust a hinge, what to clean with and what to avoid. You receive the care instructions and the warranty papers. [CLIENT INPUT: confirm what the handover pack contains.]

Society rules and access

Most Mumbai buildings restrict working hours and material movement, and some require a deposit or a written intimation. Sort this out before the delivery date: a truck turned away at the gate costs a full day. We will tell you exactly what to ask your society for, and our team works within the permitted hours.

Snagging, and how we close it

At handover we walk the kitchen with you and write down anything that needs attention: an alignment, a missing cap, a mark on a shutter. Each item gets an owner and a date, and the list is closed before the project is signed off. If something appears in the first weeks of use, it is covered by the warranty rather than treated as a new job.

How many days does installation take?

Do we need to move out during installation?

No, in most cases. The cutting is done in the factory, so on-site work is mainly fixing and alignment. The kitchen itself will be unusable for those days.

What if the walls are not straight?

Most walls are not. We level the base units and use fillers and scribes at the ends, which is why a floor-to-ceiling fit looks tight even when the wall is out of true.

Who fits the countertop?

Do you clean up afterwards?

Yes. The team clears packing material and cleans the units before handover.
