NovoScape manufactures in its own 20,000 sq ft factory in Mumbai using German and Italian automated machinery. Panels are cut, edge-banded on all four sides, drilled and pre-assembled indoors, then checked before they leave. Nothing is cut in your living room.

Why factory-made is different
Site carpentry depends on the person holding the tool that day. A machine repeats the same cut and the same edge, panel after panel. That is what makes doors line up, drawers stay square and edges resist moisture.

The machinery

Boards and hardware we buy
We source boards in the grades specified in your quote, and hardware from European makers including Blum, Grass, Volpato, Italiana Ferramenta and System Holz. Sourcing decisions are written into the quotation, so what you approve is what is bought.
Quality checks before dispatch
- Dimensions checked against the approved drawing, unit by unit
- Edges inspected for a clean, continuous band on all four sides
- Hinges, runners and lift-ups test-fitted and cycled
- Finish checked in daylight for shade consistency across the batch
- Units packed and labelled by room, so installation follows a plan

Visit the factory
We welcome factory visits, especially from architects, interior designers and clients doing a whole home. It is the fastest way to judge a manufacturer. Ask us to arrange a slot, and we will confirm a time when the lines are running.

Getting it into a Mumbai building
Half the logistics in this city happen after the truck arrives. We check lift sizes, staircase turns and society timings before dispatch, and size units so they can be carried in without being cut on the landing. Where a unit cannot fit a lift, we plan it as sections that assemble cleanly inside the flat.

What does edge banding on all four sides mean?
Each cut panel has a plastic or veneer strip bonded to every edge, including the ones you never see. Sealed edges keep moisture out of the board, which is what makes a kitchen last in a humid city.
How many kitchens can you produce in a month?
